Fly into Vancouver (or drive from Seattle to skip international flight fees), play mountain golf surrounded by some of the most stunning scenery in the world, and soak up the legendary Whistler Village scene every night.

Day-by-Day

Day
1
Arrive — Furry Creek + Whistler Village
✈️ Fly into Vancouver (YVR) — or fly into Seattle (SEA) and drive across the border to save on international flight fees. Either way, the Sea-to-Sky Highway to Whistler is one of the most scenic drives in North America.
Stop at Furry Creek Golf & Country Club on the way up — a stunning oceanside mountain course that breaks up the drive perfectly. Fun fact: this is the filming location of the infamous fight between Happy Gilmore and Bob Barker. Historic ground.
🚗 Continue the drive to Whistler (about 45 min from Furry Creek)
🏨 Check into your hotel — stay right near Whistler Village if you can
🍺 Walk around the Village on your first night. Incredible bars, restaurants, and people from all over the world. Don't plan too hard — just go where the wind takes you.
💡 If driving from Seattle, give yourself about 4 hours total including the border crossing. It's worth it — the drive alone is half the experience.
Day
2
Nicklaus North + Whistler Golf Club
Morning: Nicklaus North Golf Course — Jack Nicklaus design with Green Lake and mountain panoramas on every hole. One of the best resort courses in Canada.
🥪 Quick lunch between rounds
Afternoon: Whistler Golf Club — Arnold Palmer design in the heart of the valley. Beautiful, accessible, and the perfect complement to Nicklaus North.
🍽️ Hit the Village again for dinner — soak up the scene and try somewhere new
💡 Note: Whistler Golf Club is closed for renovations in 2026. If visiting this year, swap in Big Sky Golf Club or Squamish Valley instead.
Day
3
Fairmont Chateau Whistler + Peak 2 Peak
Morning: Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club — a dramatic mountain course carved through old-growth forest with bear sightings not uncommon. Elevation changes you have to see to believe.
🚡 Afternoon: Ride the Peak 2 Peak Gondola — the highest and longest free-span gondola in the world. The views of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains are absolutely unreal.
🚵 If you're feeling brave, try mountain biking — Whistler is world-famous for it. Just don't wreck yourself and ruin the rest of the trip.
🍺 Another night in the Village — you know the drill by now
💡 The Peak 2 Peak Gondola is a must-do even if you're not into hiking or biking. The views alone are worth it.
Day
4
Nicklaus North Encore + The Send-Off
Morning: Nicklaus North — one more time. It's that good. Play different tees, take in the views you missed the first time, and soak up every last minute of mountain golf.
☀️ Enjoy the afternoon — pool, patio, or one last walk around the Village
🎉 Give Whistler a proper send-off on the last night. You've earned it.
🚗 Drive back to Vancouver or Seattle the next morning for your flight home
💡 Playing the same course twice on a trip might sound weird — but Nicklaus North is the kind of course that reveals new things every round. Trust us on this one.
