The most famous stretch of golf in America. Warm up at historic Del Monte, survive Spyglass Hill, walk Spanish Bay along the dunes, and save Pebble Beach Golf Links for the finale — the 7th, the 8th, and the 18th along Carmel Bay. Four days, 17-Mile Drive, and Carmel-by-the-Sea in between.

Arrive + Warm-Up at Del Monte
Fly into Monterey (MRY) — 15 minutes from the resort — or San Jose (SJC) / San Francisco (SFO) and drive the coast
Check into The Lodge at Pebble Beach, The Inn at Spanish Bay, or a Carmel rental. Staying on-resort is what unlocks Pebble tee times
Afternoon: Del Monte Golf Course — the oldest course in continuous operation west of the Mississippi (1897). Walkable, classic, and the perfect way to shake off the travel
Dinner in Carmel-by-the-Sea — a storybook village 10 minutes south, packed with patios and wine bars
💡 Book your Pebble round when you book your room — tee times are released to resort guests and the prime slots go fast. Lock everything in early.

Spyglass Hill — The Tough One
Morning: Spyglass Hill Golf Course — routinely ranked tougher than Pebble itself. The first five holes tumble through the dunes to the ocean before the course turns into the Del Monte Forest. A brute, and a beauty
Lunch at the turn or back at the Lodge
Drive the 17-Mile Drive in the afternoon — the Lone Cypress, Bird Rock, and the seal colonies. Have your camera ready
Drinks at the Tap Room at the Lodge — golf memorabilia and a stiff pour
💡 Spyglass starts with maybe the best opening stretch in American golf, then bares its teeth in the trees. Keep the driver in the bag on the inland holes and just survive to the green.

Spanish Bay + Carmel
Morning: The Links at Spanish Bay — a true links built on restored dunes, co-designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and Tom Watson. Firm, windswept, and a different flavor than the rest of the peninsula
Stay for the bagpiper — he walks the dunes at dusk, piping the course closed. A Spanish Bay tradition
Afternoon in Carmel — galleries, the white-sand beach, and a glass of Monterey pinot
Group dinner — Carmel and Monterey both deliver at every price point
💡 Spanish Bay plays firm and into the wind off the Pacific. Bring extra layers — it's the coolest, breeziest round on the peninsula even in summer.

Pebble Beach Golf Links — The Finale
Morning: Pebble Beach Golf Links — the main event. The cliffside 7th, the 8th's heroic carry over the bay, and the iconic par-5 18th hugging the water. Take a caddie and take your time
Photos on 18 with Carmel Bay behind you — the most photographed finishing hole in golf
Celebration lunch on the terrace at the Lodge, overlooking the 18th green
Fly out of MRY in the evening — book a late-afternoon flight so you're not rushing off the 18th
💡 Save Pebble for last. After three days on the peninsula you'll know your game and your nerves — and nothing tops walking up the 18th with the bay on your right as your trip crescendo.
