Florida's Gold Coast delivers year-round sunshine, world-class resort courses, and the kind of upscale ambiance few destinations match. PGA National is the crown jewel, hosting the Honda Classic on The Champion Course, but the broader area offers everything from budget-friendly municipal tracks to ultra-private resort experiences.
Palm Beach is winter golf done right, especially if you're Canadian or from the northern US — December to March, the weather is the whole point. I can't recommend the Palm Beach Par 3 enough. If you're like me, you'll initially feel it's silly to waste a golf-trip round on a par-3 course, but it was so unique and in amazing condition. North Palm Beach Golf Club was a bit overpriced but still a fun play, and our group really enjoyed playing 36 holes at Osprey Point in Boca — a very fun course. Abacoa is a solid public option too. The Park is a top-100 public course, but even if you don't play it, you absolutely must go to the Park facility at night, enjoy some nighttime pitch and putt, and have some casual drinks. Rory McIlroy even mentioned how much he loves that spot.

Gil Hanse design built on a reclaimed landfill in West Palm Beach — opened 2023 and immediately one of the most talked-about new public courses in America. Walking only, minimalist design, and a refreshingly unpretentious vibe in an area not known for it.
